Your Everyday Knee Sleeve Guide
Your PhysioFit™ Everyday Sleeve is a simple, effective first step for everyday knee pain, stiffness, sport-related soreness, and mild swelling — while still allowing natural movement.
How It Works
Compression provides continuous sensory input to the skin around the knee. This helps the brain better sense where the knee is in space, leading to more coordinated muscle control and steadier movement — helping you feel more stable and less cautious when walking, exercising, or changing direction.
Compression helps move excess fluid away from the knee. For those experiencing swelling or a "puffy" feeling, this helps the knee feel lighter and more comfortable. Reducing swelling may also help decrease pain associated with inflammation.
The sleeve retains warmth around the knee joint — especially helpful when the knee feels stiff. A warmer joint moves more freely, reducing the sensation of stiffness and helping surrounding muscles feel more relaxed during activity.
Gentle compression can support local circulation by assisting normal blood flow in and out of the area. This may help with muscle comfort during and after movement — particularly during longer periods of activity.
A note from your physio: The Everyday Sleeve is designed to support movement, not restrict it. It works best alongside regular movement and gradual strengthening — not as a replacement for activity. For higher-demand activities or instability, see the upgrade section below.
Fit Check
Your sleeve should feel:
- Snug but comfortable — not restrictive
- Supportive without cutting off circulation
You should be able to:
- Slide one finger under the top edge without resistance
- Move your knee fully without pinching
If something feels wrong — remove and refit

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I wear this while running or training?
Yes — the Everyday Sleeve supports movement without restricting range of motion. It's well suited to gym, walking, and light sport. For running with instability or higher-impact sport, the Premium Brace may offer more targeted support — see below.
How long should I wear it for?
Wear during activity or flare-ups. Remove once symptoms settle. Taper use progressively as your knee gains strength and confidence.
Should I wear it under or over clothing?
It can be worn comfortably under most clothing — tights, trackpants, or shorts all work.
Can compression make swelling worse?
A correctly fitted sleeve should help swelling, not worsen it. If swelling increases, check the fit or contact our team.
Do I need to wear it forever?
No. The goal is confident movement — not dependence. Once symptoms settle significantly, begin tapering off.
